Payroll Administrator (Part Time)

1417Power payroll administrator is responsible for management of the Student Employee payroll using PayChex’s Flex Pay on-line service. This includes:
- Creating new employees.
- Calculating anticipated pay to support determining withholding amounts.
- Processing twice per month hourly payroll.
- Handling all interactions with PayChex to ensure complete compliance with all agencies with jurisdiction for a national payroll.
- Performing monthly, quarterly and annual tasks related to payroll administration.
Responsibility, Qualifications & Requirements
Content Creator's Responsibilities:
- Keep all employee information confidential.
- Timely complete all aspects for new employee creation accurately in both the 1417Power HR data system and the PayChex system.
- Timely complete all aspects for twice monthly payroll creation accurately in both the. 1417Power HR data system and the PayChex system.
- Work independently using your own computer resources.
- Meet via WebEx and phone for company meetings.
Qualifications:
- Experience payroll administrator with multi-state scope.
- Experienced reading and test content creator.
- Experience with Microsoft office.
- Experienced with PayChex’s Flex Pay a plus.
- Experience in reconciling multiple systems data repositories.
- Ability to produce error free payroll runs.
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision from a home office.
Requirements:
- Computer with Microsoft Windows 7 or newer.
- Microsoft Office 2013 or newer (or subscription to Microsoft Office 365).
- Email account.
- Internet access.
